I admit it, I’m addicted to travel and travel writing.
I actually got a late start exploring the globe. Why I didn’t take advantage of the typical semester abroad programs in college I don’t know, but the day I was supposed to be attending my college graduation I was on a plane over the Atlantic on my way to Europe. No longer was I a travel virgin.
My next adventure took me quite a bit further afield–to India. My travelin’ eyes were ripped wide open. Don’t worry, chicken curry.
Next I resigned from my college teaching job and a good, stable career and hit the road (and river and air) for over 6-months of globe-trotting. From Mexico to Thailand via Belize, Guatemala, Poland’s concentration camps, Turkey, and safaris in Kenya.
Here on Travelin’ Bones I share my past and on-going travel experiences and stories as well as travel news and tips.
Stay tuned for posts on Kenya; Bocas del Toro, Panama; Tequila, Michoacan, and Oaxaca, Mexico; Tortuguero, Costa Rica; Auschwitz, the Eel and Trinity Rivers, Yosemite, and more! Travelblog hosts my original blogs from my 6-month trip. Some of that content finds its way over here in shorter, edited form.
